Buying vs Buying

We all have our issues right?  Well that is what I have been telling myself to make me feel better!  You all know that my hubby and I are building our first townhome, but I can't seem to gear away from all the sales that are currently happening.  Bath & Body Works, Zara, and H&M.  The biggest issue is my BBW addiction.  I have so many candles that I have to 'make up' storage space for them.  The body care items are really just stuffed under one of the couches (our couch has a storage thingy underneath the seating).  Not to mention the summer concert series that was planned before the whole "let's buy a home" thing popped up.  Then there is travel...ahhhhhhhh...what's a lady to do?  Are you a shopaholic (especially for sales)?  Usually if there is no sale happening, I am OK...but girlfriend, as soon as the sale emails start flying in, I'm logging in!  

The good thing thing, since the hubby purchased the concerts, I should be good on that front...but there is no excuse for the other shopping.  This morning was my last time shopping until after we close (excluding vacation).  I pinky promise!!!

    Haha! Omg. I went shopping on Wednesday and Thursday to different malls. The stores are all having semi- annual sales and I'm stocking up on the hand soaps from BBW and tart melts/jars from Yankee Candle. All I keep saying is, "it's for the house... It's for the house..." Haha

      Hahaha great idea Kimmie! I will surely use that one. More space equals more candles right? I have never tried Yankee, but I hear great things about them. Hmmmmm...I guest I will need to wait until after we close OR...even better...put them on my bday wish list in July.

    Haha! I have to laugh.. I am seriously the same way. I have bought 2x from BBW since their semi-annual sale. I'm only getting ready for the new house!! ;) And I might have mentioned I'd like to go to H&M tonight.. I mean a good sale is a good sale!

      You can say that again! A good sale is a must. My little closet is struggling to hold all this stuff. I even switched to the huggable hangers...it helped but not as much as I needed. I will need to do a closet post...perhaps you all can help me! LOL

    Hahaha! I completely understand! I am trying SO hard to keep my shopping under control! I just justify it by saying we need it for the house. At least we're shopping for things on sale! When all of those 4th of July sale emails came in I had to try my best to resist! If it were up to me though we would already have our fridge, washer, dryer, and every single piece of furniture but my boyfriend is a little more realistic .. haha!

      Too funny! I feel like now that I must watch my spending, the stores just keep on tempting me. Email after email, coupon after coupon. I am with you...I would have all the appliances and furniture too! The struggle is real LaurLew! :-)
